Outbreaks in the food industry are never welcome, but they can provide valuable insights that can be used to prevent future incidents. A 2015 outbreak involved Listeria monocytogenes (Lm) contamination in the icecream industry. In response to this outbreak, one effective decontamination method facilities used was the application of chlorine dioxide gas to eliminate Lm.

During this webinar, Paul Lorcheim, Director of Operations for ClorDiSys Solutions, Inc., will discuss the application of decontamination at one of the contaminated dairy facilities that took place using chlorine dioxide gas. Paul has an extensive food safety background in sterilization pathways and decontamination methods. He is responsible for directing the commercialization and manufacturing of various decontamination and sterilization technology for the pharmaceutical, life science, health care and food industries.
